Location: 5210 S Priest Dr Guadalupe, AZ (Tempe, AZ) (with travel to retail store locations)

Pay Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually


Position Summary: 

The IT Specialist at Mint Cannabis provides front-line support for all corporate and retail locations. This role troubleshoots, resolves, and documents day-to-day technology issues including hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate brings a passion for IT, a customer-first mindset, and a desire to grow within a rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests, both remotely and onsite.
  • Respond to, manage, and resolve IT tickets across hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain POS systems, receipt printers, label printers, computers, and mobile devices.
  • Support users with Google Workspace applications and account management.
  • Support users on Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting of network connectivity and infrastructure.
  • Utilize and update ticketing systems (such as LGPI, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshdesk, or similar).
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, including executives, store associates, and corporate staff.
    Assist with IT equipment inventory and asset tracking.
  • Travel to local retail sites to perform hands-on support when necessary, driving a company vehicle.
  • Remain flexible for urgent requests outside normal business hours, including occasional weekends or overnight needs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for IT support workflows.
     

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.
     

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar technical support roles.
    Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and support.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, printers, and basic networking principles.
  • Previous experience using IT ticketing systems (LGPI preferred, but others acceptable).
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to support a wide range of users.
  • High degree of initiative, flexibility, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent license) in all applicable states.
     

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A+, Network+, Google IT Support Certificate or similar IT certifications are preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to drive for work-related travel.
  • Ability to crawl into tight spaces and work in confined areas.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
     

Work Environment:

  • Office and retail environments.
  • Exposure to retail noise levels and occasional odor from cannabis products.
  • Use of PPE as required.
     

Travel Requirements:

  • Regular local travel to retail locations using a company vehicle.
