Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician at Mint Cannabis is responsible for supporting the production process from raw material conversion to the finished cannabis product. This role is essential in ensuring that production schedules, compliance standards, and operational efficiency are consistently met. The Technician will oversee various stages of production, from the botanical preparation phase to the final packaging of products. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to complete proper documentation, and the skill to support a team within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in food or pharmaceutical production, and be dedicated to maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Goals: Maintain proper priorities towards production goals, timelines and schedules to ensure all objectives are met on time.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with state regulations, quality control standards, and internal company policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, batch records, inventory sheets, cleaning logs and standard operating procedures SOP(s).
- Training and Development: Complete hands-on training, and support to senior technicians, ensuring all processes follow safety and equipment protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: ensure manufacturing equipment is functioning properly by performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime.
- Collaboration: Work with management to ensure production goals align with company objectives and participate in cross- departmental meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to all team members and leadership.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to cannabis production and the ability to ensure compliance in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to fast -paced environments, with flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and operational changes.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high quality standards and minimizing errors.
- Work Independently: Capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and completing tasks without constant supervision.
Additional Abilities Required:
- Physical Endurance: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that requires prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.
- Manual Dexterity: Good hand to eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling production materials and machinery.
- Team Orientation: Strong ability to work in both team settings and independently fostering positive relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Problem Solving: Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify inefficiencies, and resolve problems as they arise.

Reports to: Supervisor/Manager, Cultivation or Manager, Facility Operations
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Weekend and holiday availability required
