This led to the successful opening of its second Arizona commercial indoor medical marijuana cultivation facility in 2018, where we proved that we are capable of being leaders in the cannabis industry.

Due to our consistent delivery of quality products, The Mint has continued to see a boom in growth, with six thriving locations in Arizona, seven Michigan locations, and a brand new store in Missouri. We want to expand our dedicated team to continue promoting our growth and business needs! We are looking for a skilled Back of House (BOH) Lead to join our team and ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.




 

Position Summary:

 The Back of House (BOH) Lead oversees the stockroom and warehouse operations, ensures efficient and organized inventory management, and supports the front-of-house retail team. This role involves supervising a team, managing stock levels, and maintaining store standards to support optimal store performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate the BOH team, including stock associates and other support staff. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure effective team operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and organization of inventory. Ensure accurate stock counts, manage stock replenishment and coordinate inventory audits.
  • Order Fulfillment: Manage the process for processing online and in-store orders. Ensure timely and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Stockroom Organization: Maintain an organized and clean stockroom and storage areas. Implement efficient processes for stock retrieval and manage stock rotation to reduce obsolescence.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any shipment discrepancies or issues.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper merchandise handling and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues, including stock discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and staffing concerns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to support sales efforts, manage product displays, and address any customer or operational needs that impact store performance.
 

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment
    •   1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. 
    • Cannabis experience is a plus!
  • Skills: 
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: 
    • Familiarity with inventory management systems, retail operations, and best practices for stockroom management.
  • Education:
    •  High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Physical Requirements:
    •  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to inventory management.
