Full Job Description

Mint Cannabis is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Team Member to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock audits, and ensuring efficient stock control practices. This role requires a strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Duties:
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
    • Maintain proper stock levels and reorder materials as needed.
    • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas.
    • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize inventory control procedures.
    • Utilize inventory management software to track and update inventory levels.
    • Identify and report discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
    • Assist in implementing inventory control measures to reduce loss and improve efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
    • Assist with product labeling, barcoding, and tagging as necessary.
    • Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
    • Update inventory records in the database accurately and promptly.
    • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low stock situations to the Inventory Manager.
    • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
    • Organize and store inventory in designated areas following company standards.
    • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items and quantities are packed.
    • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management
    • 1 year of cannabis experience preferred 
  • Skills:
    • Lifting 25+ pounds
    • Data entry
    • Basic math
    • Problem-Solving
    • Stocking
    • Standing for an entire shift
    • Compliance with state laws and regulations
