Mint Cannabis originated in Arizona in 2016, and since then, has quickly expanded into several different markets. We currently have 32 retail locations and 5 cultivation/production facilities in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Michigan. The company continues to expand our footprint and is seeking passionate individuals who are interested in growing with an organization through those expansions. Job Summary:

As a Lead Store Associate at Mint Cannabis, you will provide an exceptional experience to all guests and team members as both a Store Associate and Leader on Duty. You will support the Management team in day-to-day operations, leading by example with strategic selling and maintaining a positive, energetic presence on the sales floor. While acting as the Leader on Duty, you will train, coach, and develop team members to foster a welcoming, guest-focused environment. You will oversee responsibilities such as cash handling, inventory management, and ensuring seamless daily operations, all while maintaining clear, effective communication with both your team and leadership to support the store's overall success.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all necessary breaks and lunches are given.
  • Assists in tracking team member attendance and performance through designated corrective action tracker.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of the dispensary as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the operations of the dispensary run in a smooth and professional fashion.
  • Assisting in the oversight of the dispensary’s compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Takes on additional duties as needed and does so with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to implement and manage company and dispensary best practices, policies, & procedures
  • Strives to support Mint Cannabis Core Values and goals while promoting programs and initiatives.
  • Consistently communicate and model the culture of Mint Cannabis
  • Supervises and delegates tasks to team members at the discretion of store management.
  • Communicates concerns of the team to the Assistant Store Manager and/or Store Manager.
  • Taking action when necessary to resolve team conflicts, in collaboration with Management
  • Assists in training associates on store operations, product, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling patient inquiries and complaints.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Applicant must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Showcase excellent interpersonal, motivational, and team-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic cannabis & brand knowledge.
  • Quickly adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Coaching others in a positive and constructive manner.

Education and Experience:

  • Cannabis Industry: 1 year (Required)
  • Retail sales: 2 years (Required)
  • Leadership: 1 year (Required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and move merchandise up to 35lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours).
