Pay Range: $41,600 + Tips when on drawer
Position Summary:
The retail lead's [AIC] primary responsibility is to be an operational extension to the store manager. Retail leads are responsible for controlling the sales floor flow, ensuring guests are being tended to promptly, team members are fulfilling their responsibilities, and providing operational support from discount codes to lunch coverage. The retail lead would be responsible for overseeing their shift team members and sales-floor operational efficiency while on shift.
Responsibilities:
- Daily tasks: The exact work you do.
- Leadership Responsibilities: Ensuring 25+ Team members are upselling, completing daily inventory responsibilities, and providing a guest experience.
- Sales Expertise: Responsible for coaching and giving sales feedback to the team on their shift, while also encouraging the team to improve their metrics for their location.
- Inventory Control: Coaching team members to appropriately scan out products to help reduce shrinkage, improving inventory count, and conducting bag checks.
- Floor Operations: Manage daily store openings and closings, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale (POS) systems, discount codes.
- Compliance: Understanding Arizona compliance requirements to walk through state inspections, reducing deficiencies confidently.
- Goals: The results you must reach.
- Improving sales consistently month over month.
- Team education on expected sales metrics.
- Reducing aging and expiring products
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Budtenders
- Security Guards
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in the cannabis industry
- Leadership background; cannabis leadership a plus.
- Experience in sales preferred
- Must be 21+ and possess (or be able to obtain) an AIC & Agent Badge
- Dutchie Experience
- METRC Experience
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, and climbing for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
- The environment can be loud
- Atmosphere & Pace: Fast-paced and energetic. The floor features specialized product displays (flower, edibles, concentrates). Staff must be adaptable to busy rushes, as wait times and long lines are common during peak hours
