Reliability Technician 

 

Reports to: Cultivation Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Department: Cultivation
Location: 14810 Northwest 94th Ave, Alachua, FL 32615
Pay Range: $16.00


We’re looking for a Reliability Technician ready to roll up their sleeves (pun absolutely intended) and be the backbone of facility performance. From preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs to sanitation standards and compliance documentation,you ensure our cultivation and production environment remains safe, functional, and auditready.If you take pride in solving problems, preventing downtime, and maintaining high operational standards, this is your opportunity to grow with one of the most innovative names in cannabis.


Responsibilities 

  • Perform ongoing facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and minor repairs
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and building systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend
  • equipment lifespan
  • Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to identify potential issues
  • Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and appliances
  • Coordinate and oversee outside contractors as needed
  • Identify and report safety, maintenance, or operational risks promptly
 

Supervisor Responsibilities

  • None

Sanitation & Compliance

  • Clean and sanitize cultivation and production areas, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment
  • Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation SOPs to maintain product safety
  • Safely mix, handle, and store cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Maintain cleaning logs, maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and organized, hazard-free workspaces
  • Adhere to all company PPE, hygiene, and safety standards


Operational Support

  • Support production teams by maintaining safe, clean, and efficient work environments
  • Maintain tools, equipment inventory, and accurate service documentation


Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, sanitation, or manufacturing environments required
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Experience in GMP or regulated production environments preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures consistently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in cultivation and production areas with plant material and strong odors
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Must have majority of own tools and reliable transportation
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card if required by your state.
  • Must have majority of own tools and reliable transportation
