Location: Phoenix, AZ (Happy Valley Location)
Pay Range: $17.00 per hour


Position Summary:

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for hands-on plant care throughout the cannabis growth cycle — from cloning to harvest. This role supports day-to-day operations in the cultivation facility, ensuring plants are healthy, compliant, and thriving in a clean, organized environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to grow with one of the fastest-growing cannabis brands in the industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to perform pruning, defoliation, trimming, and plant support tasks.
  • Must be able to clone, transplant, water, fertilize, and transition cannabis plants as needed.
  • Responsible for monitoring plant health and reporting signs of stress, pests, or disease.
  • Must record data on plant development and environmental conditions as instructed.
  • Required to assist in harvesting flowering plants and preparing them for post-harvest.
  • Must maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
  • Must follow SOPs, schedules, and task lists set by cultivation leadership.
  • May be required to assist with special projects or cross-functional tasks within cultivation.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card in accordance with Arizona state regulations.
  • 1–3 years of experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or production environments.
  • Working knowledge of cannabis growth cycles preferred (or willingness to learn).
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in task execution.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.


Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No certifications required; horticulture or agricultural training is a plus.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in hot, humid environments with concrete flooring.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity required.
  • Expected exposure to pollen, dust, and raw plant materials.
     


Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a cultivation facility under regulated conditions.
  • Exposure to humidity, temperature changes, plant materials, and grow lighting systems.
  • PPE may be required depending on task or department policy.
