Location:  330 E Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210

Pay Range: $58,00-$62,400 


Position Summary: 

The store manager's primary goal is to improve sales and create a positive guest experience. The store manager will work with the area manager through inventory management and control, team members' support, and development of product knowledge, upsell tactics, and data analytics to improve overall store performance. 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily tasks: The exact work you do.
    • Leadership Responsibilities: Training, developing, and aligning up to 25+ Team members. 
    • Sales Expertise: Responsible for improving sales month over month. Working with marketing and procurement teams to promote sales, increasing revenue. 
    • Inventory Control: Reducing product shrinkage by reducing aging inventory/inventory expirations, understanding your inventory par levels, and sell-throughs. 
    • Compliance: Understanding Arizona compliance requirements to confidently walk through state inspections, reducing deficiencies. 
  • Goals: The results you must reach.
    • Improving sales consistently month over month.
    • Team education on expected sales metrics.
    • Reducing aging and expiring products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Store Manager (When applicable)
  • Retail Leads
  • Budtenders
  • BOH Clerks

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years in the cannabis industry
  • Leadership background, for large teams, cannabis leadership a plus.
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Must be 21+ and possess (or be able to obtain) an Arizona Facility Agent Card

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, walking, and climbing for long periods of time. 

Work Environment:

  • The environment can be loud 
  • Atmosphere & Pace: Fast-paced and energetic. The floor features specialized product displays (flower, edibles, concentrates). Staff must be adaptable to busy rushes, as wait times and long lines are common during peak hours
